Timeline Set for B&B Return

I've known about this for months because I'm fucking awesome, but I'll inform anyone else out there on Twitter that it's official -- MTV is scheduled to bring back Beavis & Butt-Head this summer thanks to creator Mike Judge.

The real questions on most people's minds are, will it be the same and will they even use music videos?

To answer those questions -- Judge agreed only to bring back the show if it was to be written and produced the same way it was originally done in the 90s. It will not be digital, not be 3D -- just whatever crappy way it was originally done. But hey, it worked, and it'll still work.

As for the Music Videos, I can't answer that. At first thought you'd think yeah of course hey will use music videos. But once that thought creeps through your brain and sits in for about 5 minutes you suddenly realize "When the **** does MTV still play Music Videos?" Now all of a sudden you are confused out of your damn mind. If they do not use Music Videos, the logical alternative would be clips of MTV Reality Shows. That was the genius behind the original stint for the series, to open people to the music videos by having two idiots make fun of the videos. It can work easily and more beautifully with reality shows.

Beavis: Hmmm.. I don't know. Maybe they're going to arrive later and do these chicks.
Butt-head: Ehuh yeah, those chicks are sluts.
